Basically this is an attempt to reproduce the homescapes/gardenscapes fake ad in which you need to make the right choice in order to make the character proceed. The only difference is that the advertisement for that game is actually a clickbait, as the real game is nothing about that, but this time, in "Save The Girl", you'll play something very very close to what you've seen in those advertisements.

My game still display ads, shouldn't it be unable to access any sort of ads?

It really doesn't make sense to print just an ad covering the whole screen, so I've choose to print the menu which displays an ad at the bottom.

As explained in the mod features, the removed advertisement is the interstitial video as between each level (which is the most annoying part)

They still show up for me too, I just thought it would be better proof showing an ad that also shows the game.
