It does work (the bar does empty but you still have the jet pack on and flying) the only issue is you can't move lanes once the fuel bar empties, you can still fly and get highscores though just can't move

EDIT: I've also tried with and without instant lane change however haven't found a workaround from it

About the Game:

Subway Surfers, It’s not a new name in the gaming industry, it’s been around for a long time. You play as a Vandal who was caught graffiting trains by a security guard and his canine friend who ends up chasing you across the tracks, why doesn’t he climb and or run off of the tracks? I don’t know… But it makes it fun, you end up having to jump over and slide under obstacles, climb up on trains and platforms, and dodge speeding trains meanwhile collecting floating coins and other perks. Using hoverboards and jetpacks is another way to get through the obstacle course, for a limited time at least. But watch out! hitting enough obstacles will let the guard catch up and grab you. Coins are the currency of the game which allows you to buy upgrades and other characters so it's best to try and get them while on the run.

The maps are completely dynamic and are different for every play allowing for long or short gaming sessions. The game has good graphics and tons of achievements that you can work towards achieving. Strive to beat your old score but be careful, the higher the score the harder it gets. Character-wise the game includes heaps of characters to make your vandal, I'm sure you'll find someone you can get behind!

About the Mod:

This mod released by PoisonModz is a trainer-style application allowing you to change a large number of options to allow you to game the way you want to. From No Gravity to Instant lane changing. This mod doesn't stop you from having fun, it alters the gameplay so you as the player can get the most fun out of it. There are a total of 37 different options to choose from but as normal, make sure to read the notes section under mod features as some things may not be visible instantly. The button is a perfect size and out of the way of the game meaning, you won't get distracted or have a hard time seeing the obstacles ahead. It's a small button with tons of features, I'd recommend giving it a try!

My Opinion:

This mod has everything you could think of, I thoroughly enjoyed testing this mod and would recommend others to give it a go, with the huge variety of options it would be a mistake not to try it! The game itself is great and doesn't get old, it keeps you on your toes and avoids having to speak to people. Just a tip for everyone, you can easily ace your old high score by choosing the "Unlimited Jetpack time" and finding a jetpack, not that I have done it or anything...
