Just sign the mod apk with apk-signer (available in app store), then install.

I tried with APK editor pro+ and it works for me, you just have to select the file, then choose common edit, and change install location to internal only.

Getting the "App not Installed" message, don't know why I bothered spending my SB Points after reading the comments. Hopefully the newer version will be modded soon and hopefully it works.
